Aviemore looking very floral

Aviemore is now looking ready for summer with the hanging baskets now in place along the main street.

You may have also noticed that there are not as many hanging baskets as in previous years, unfortunately they go a long way short of what we had planned but the reality is that due to Covid restrictions, we were unable to raise sufficient funds this year and we had to rely solely on donations, the majority which came from local businesses (see below).

With your help we hope our hanging baskets will return to their former glory next year

This year we were only able to purchase the number of hanging baskets that we had funds in the bank to cover the summers maintenance and watering.  This daily task is being undertaken by GBC Ecosse.  Thanks to Chris Helik and his team for their hard work.

We are hoping that next year, with restrictions lessened, we will be able to attract more funds and the baskets will return to their full glory.

We received a total of £5,900 in donations this year.
