Village Green Refurbishment

Stage 1 of the project was completed in late 2020 and included the additional of a covered bandstand and the repositioning of the  Olympic statue.  

Stage 2 of the project was finished in April 2021 with new stone benching built from recycled material from the nearby Laurel Bank site which had been demolished recently.

After a tidy up of the grounds and gardens, it’s now a much more usable space,  and we look forward to the green and bandstand being more widely used by the community.
