How you can help

They are always fun, and we always try to do something slightly unusual. Whether its a girls afternoon, an evening at the races or a red carpet event, you’ll be supporting us while having a good time.

But we would really like you to become a member. ACE membership is free, and commitment-free. And the more members we have, the easier it is for us to attract funding, so just by joining you are helping a lot.

Of course, if you want to take an active part in what we do, your help would be more than welcome.

You can let us know what you might be interested in doing when you complete the membership form.

You don’t have to be a member to offer your help. No special skills are needed but, of course, if you have a particular skill that we can use, we will be more than happy to put it to good use.

For those who enjoy getting their hands dirty we regularly need more hands to plant flowers, leaflet drop or help with getting the winter lights in and out of storage.

Or how about joining our Fundraising and Events team? We can never have too many helpers there! You could get involved with organising an event, contacting local businesses or sending out thank you letters.

Everyone is welcome. You can help out on a regular basis, as and when suits you, or just once, its up to you.

We generate income through our events, advertising, and applying for grants. We also run a monthly lottery, and you can make a donation if you wish, and decide your money will be spent. Any amount that you would like to give will be received with thanks.
